Bybit Setup

Setup using Bybit

Basic Requirements

• You will need to have a Unified Trading Account (https://www.bybit.com/en/help-center/article/How-to-Upgrade-Standard-Account-to-UTA)

• It is recommended to do this on a Sub-Account

Setup Bybit API

• Head over to this link to create your Bybit API keys

  • Make sure that the withdraw permissions are disabled

  • The API permissions can be left to Read-Only. Shadow will monitor your trades taken in your Bybit account, and broadcast them to Shadow.

Connect API Key to Shadow

• Login to the Shadow website

• In the Account Management -> Exchange Connections tab, add your API key details to Bybit

  • In the API Key field, paste in the API Key value that Bybit gave

  • In the Secret field, paste in the Secret Key value that Bybit gave

• Take a live trade on the Bybit website, then go to your profile on the Shadow website, and check that your trade showed up!
