A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Sign In to Shadow Begin by signing into your Shadow account. This begins your journey of mastery and unlocks your use of Katana. If you have not signed up for Shadow, complete the registration process to take the next step. After you log in, you can click on Create Katana Wallet in the image below, or go to your Account Management page to start the wallet creation process.

Step 2: Create Your Katana Wallet Once you've entered Account Management, navigate to the action panel to the right and click the "Create Katana Wallet" button. This action initiates the process of forging your on-chain weapon in precision trading.

Step 3: Generate Your Wallet Click the “Generate” button to create your Katana Wallet. In this moment, Shadow’s technology forges a secure, on-chain wallet, uniquely tied to you. It’s fast, seamless, and built with the highest level of encryption.

Step 4: Your On-Chain Wallet Is Ready Once generated, your Katana Wallet is live. This is your vault for Solana-based assets, optimized for speed and integration within our Shadow ecosystem. With the creation of your Katana Wallet will come the creation of its private key. This is direct access to all assets within your Katana Wallet and should be guarded with the utmost security. Here is what we recommend: 1. Write down your private key and store it in a safe, offline location. Avoid digital storage methods like screenshots or cloud services because they can be vulnerable to breaches from outside parties. 2. Consider using a hardware wallet or encrypted storage solution to protect it further. DISCLAIMER: Shadow cannot recover your private key for you. Your security is YOUR sovereignty.

Step 5: Deposit SOL Into Your Wallet To activate your wallet and begin trading, deposit Solana into your Katana Wallet by clicking “Select Wallet” and following the on-screen prompts to fund your wallet. Once you've added your SOL, you’re ready to interact with the Shadow ecosystem and our tools.
